Meow. The Lions got both spayed and neutered on Monday night. The Lions haven't won their division in 24 years. Feels like a cool 25 coming.

That was really the question of the weekend. Baltimore basically got a Week One bye as they dismantled the Bills. The Buccs, meanwhile, put up a little fight.

Seriously, who was dat? Are the Saints content to be 7-9 again this season? They've finished 7-9 four of the last six seasons. So, maybe they just aren't a good team after all. It's always a joy to watch Sean Payton pace the sidelines wondering what the hell is happening to his team. Again. For another season.

And with only one Sunday in the books, I'm guessing a lot of Ducey Poolers feel the whole season is over. But don't panic. This is why you play in a pool that allows three losses. You still have AT LEAST two more weeks of excitement left ahead of you. Most likely more. So chin up, players!! I'm with you in spirit! (And in losses.)
