Welcome back to insanity.

The pool has begun and lots of footballs have been carried and passed and kicked. Or so I assume.

I have left town for a few other things in the intervening 20 years, but yes I am currently in London, and the only football news I have heard is that Liverpool is the odds-on favorite to take the Premiere League title, and poor Watford is heading toward relegation. Oh, and definitely add Roberto Firmino to your fantasy team at striker. He should have a ton of goals this season. (And by a ton, I mean like 8.)

I will do my best to keep all the picks and losses straight, but you can't count on me for knowing how Pittsburgh lost to New England 33-3, or how Miami is ever going to win a game when they give up 59 points on defense. You have to figure that out for yourselves.

I am back after Week 3 is in the books. Everyone hold down the fort until then.
