"Watching these bloodbaths the last three weeks has been a blast! Titans in Week 11!" [Tennessee] --Balck
Some people just can't help tempting fate.
"It may cost me, but I can't bring myself to pick against my Lions." [Carolina] --Romain~E
I knew you were in trouble at "my Lions."
Two big upsets, but not the bandwagon itself. If you jumped on board against the winless Lions, you got to live another week. Right below them, though, the Texans were ready to break out their Week One skills after a nine-week hiatus. And three leaders picked the Carolina Panthers, secure that Cam Newton could successfully go from watching the NFL RedZone to on the NFL RedZone in nine days. Those three leaders were three of only 10 people that picked the Panthers, but that's an important three. It takes the leaders down to single digits. Nine players remain undefeated with half of the season still left to navigate.
"If I get eliminated by Houston, I don't know what to say." [Tennessee] --Kirby (RIP)
Shhhhhhhh.
As you know, it is one of the most pivotal weeks of the Ducey Pool season. It's the moment when there are more people OUT of the pool than IN. So if you are still in the pool, then you are officially, mathematically above-average at this. Throw that in your friends' faces over turkey dinner. If you are one of those, like me, on the outside looking in, the Second Chance Pool starts in Week 16 this year.
"If TB12 can keep my season going, I will eat only avocado ice cream from here on out." [Tampa Bay] --Bjelajac~D
I just think Bjelajac's friends needed to know this to ensure enforcement moving forward. |
