"Please don't quote me: I don't want to jinx my pick." [Buffalo] --Simon
Guys, the pick comes first, then the losing, then the quoting. The quoting has no power over the game.
"Go Pack Go! Easy win vs the Bungles!" [Green Bay] -- Balck
See.
"Pick the chalk... any chalk..." [LA Chargers] --Alcus
"This pick is a good indicator of how well or how poorly I strategize." [Las Vegas] --Dague
More proof that a quote doesn't automatically sink you. It was a great weekend to be on the bandwagon. The top 6 picks were all winners.
"I’ve resigned all control. In Week 6, tail wags the underdog?" [New England] --Winton
Yup, even the Patriots can't be jinxed by a Ducey Pool quote.
Sadly, rogue strategizing did not pay off this week. Six of the eight bottom picks were losers. Remember, it's all about timing. And turnovers. It's really a lot about turnovers. |
